Hosts Denmark, seeking to regain the Thomas Cup trophy that they won in 2016, have their task cut out when they start their campaign at the TotalEnergies Thomas & Uber Cup Finals 2020.
The Danes, the only non-Asian winners of the Thomas Cup, are in challenging Group B with Korea, France and Germany. The tournament is being held in Aarhus from 9 to 17 October 2021.

Last edition runners-up Thailand will be challenged by India, Spain and Scotland in Group B, while Group C features Korea, Chinese Taipei, Tahiti and Egypt.
